Day 15, September 1, 2002.

We took the bus at 12:05 to Noosa Heads 20 km north, ($8,00 for a return for the both of us, Ittie's day was made). Noosa heads is a little town with lots of souvenir shops and hotels. People in sports cars, a little bit Jet Set. Ittie whore a beautiful dress. We went late because we wanted to stay late in Noosa. About 5 o'clock we had dinner in a sea food restaurant. Ittie wanted Lekkerbekjes but the waitress didn't understand her, thank goodness there was a boy from Holland working who solved the problem. We asked him if there was something to do in Noosa this evening but he said "about 6 everything is closed except for the pub". We decided to take the bus at 6:40. The bus driver was a very fast driver so Ittie made a lot of jokes like: "Fasten your seatbelts", "Speedy conzales", "Look like schumacher" etc. We made it safely back to the camping, did some shopping's and went to bed, reading and drinking. At about 9 o'clock to sleep.

Day 16, September 2, 2002

Ittie was feeling on a tree when the neighbor said, "dat mag je er niet afhalen"("you can't pull that off") in Dutch, Ittie said "shit" because the man spoke Dutch. Those people were for 30 years in Australia but spoke still good Dutch. They invited us for a cup of coffee and they laughed  al lot about the way Ittie talked. The harder they Laughed Ittie did more crazy. They wanted Ittie to perform for their Dutch Club. After the coffee we drove further south to Caloundra, about 60 km. We lookt for a camping in the area. The owner, Hans Mosterd, was also a Dutchman from Apeldoorn but his Dutch was very bad. He came to Australia when he was 12 years old and never spoke Dutch again. When we had everything in place, a man came to us, of course a Dutchman. He had the same camper as us but from Ritz, and he had no power. I put the plug right in and everything worked. I explained to the Ms how the microwave worked. They had the camper just picked up. Later that evening she came ask how the gas worked. Tomorrow we go to the Australian zoo, the crocodile park of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter.
