Day 5, August 22, 2002.

We get up early because the bus picked us up at 8:30 to bring us to the station for the train to Kuranda, a nice trip trough the rainforest in an old fashioned train. In Kuranda we had 4 ours to explore the village. We bought some souvenirs from real aborigine's and had a nice talk. Then we took the skyrail over the rainforest. We had a lot of nice views, the falls were not so big because there was no rain for a long time. We ware a bit early for the bus and we had a phone call from the computer shop that our laptop could not be repaired by them, so we were a bit sad. Back on the camping, our neighbors, who had a laptop that worked, burned our photo's from the camera on CD. They printed also a sign for us with the text "We are aliens from holland", we put that on our rear window.

Day 6, August 23, 2002

First picked up our laptop, $50,00 for nothing, they couldn't repair it because the had no spare parts for this laptop. Then we drove 400 km south to Townsville. In Townsville we tried another 3 computer stores but nobody could help us. We dumped the laptop under the seat and agreed not to talk about it again before we were at home. That was the end of our homepage. Our Neighbors Tim and Sandy on the other camping gave us a tip about a national park camping 20 km south of Townsville so we searched and found it just before dark. Alligator creek. On this camping were kangaroos and waliby's. At 6 it was dark and we were attacked by flies so we went inside, took a view drinks and went to sleep.
