Day 7, August 24, 2002.

Ittie woke up early and sow from the window something fall out of the trees, it were the black chicken who look like turkeys. They sleep in the tree, shit on the tents underneath, and drop out in the morning. Today we toke a day of, and were climbing and walking over the rocks around Alligator Creek. a Beautiful place. There was also a waterfall but that was 8,5 km away, through the mountains. We had an other idee about a day of, so we went back to the camper. On the camping we cuddled a kangaroo and hat a talk with some neighbors. The woman had  very large glasses, so Ittie told her "you have 17 inch glasses". The women told us that her glasses couldn't be made smaller, but she could see through Ittie's glasses. We made a picture of her with Ittie her glasses on and gonna send that to here when we are at home, so she can go to the shop end show them that those glasses can be made.

Day 8, August 25, 2002

We started driving early in the morning to Mackay, in Bowden we went shopping and bought some beer in a bottle shop. They don't sell beer in the supermarket here. At 13:45 we arrived on the Big4 Camping in Mackay after a 370 km drive. This was the first camping on the beach, we looked at the beach but "you blowde out your pants" Ittie told an Australian guy. At 6 it was dark again, we eat spaghetti, and now I'm working on the diary.
