Day 35, September 21, 2002.
At 7:30 in the morning Piet called where we went today, (apparently he enjoyed himself yesterday and wanted to come with us again). Ellie told him that we stayed at home but that he was welcome to join us. Ellie picked up Hellen and we stayed at home. Piet talked all morning about earlier days. In the afternoon we had to do some shopping's and we went to the Holland House in Sydney, I (Cath) was desperate, because I couldn't vind real Dutch drop in all Australia, In the Holland House they had everything (finally real venco). Ellie liked the shop and she asked the boss 'don't you have a job for me?' it was a suprise when the woman said Yea, we are looking for someone for the coffee house for Saturdays and Sundays. Ellie can come and try next week. Piet bought a beautiful toil with a Friesian horse on it. On our way back we had a look at a garage sale, people do that a lot around here and display all there things in the garden. Piet told us that he never went to garage sales and he never bought something. But when he found himself a new spectacle case for only $ 0,50 he was as glad as a kid. In the evening we drove together to Barry's place, Barry made us a delicious meal. Later in the evening Piet Hein and his girlfriend Anna came along. We had a lot of fun, Anna told Piet 'I never heard you make so many jokes before' It was a very nice day.

Day 36, September 22, 2002
This morning Piet called at 9 o'clock. We are going to Sydney, the aquarium, and after that to China Town for dinner. We took the car and drove to Sydney center and walked slowly to the aquarium. Ittie and I went inside because Piet had seen it all and Ellie didn't want to leave him alone. It cost you a few bucks but it was worth it. On a certain moment you walk through a tunnel of glass while the sharks and manta's swim over your head, I made a great video movie, Jack gustou should be jealous. When we came out again and we found Piet and Ellie we walked to China Town where we eat our belly's round for +/- $ 6,50 per person in a food court. Ittie asked for two trays to take the rest with us, Ellie could eat another two days of it. We walked through China Town, I bought a T-shirt and Piet a toil for his sister in Holland, Anneke. Piet talked all day again about former days, (we have almost callosity in our ears). When we came home at 5 o'clock we had a cup of coffee en pushed at about 6 Piet out of the door still talking.
