Day 33, September 19, 2002.

Joe brought the ladder early this morning because the gutter around Ellie's house was full with leaves and mud. I cleaned the gutter out because the rain season was coming. There came one container full off dirt out of the gutter. Ellie had to go to the doctor end when we were busy the plumber came to fix the taps. Ittie wouldn't let him in before he could pronounce Ellie's name properly, 'Scheepstra'. When he finally succeeded and was gone again the taps were leaking worse than before. When I cleaned the valves of the taps it was ok again. In the afternoon we did shopping's for the BBQ at Joe's place's,  and in the evening we drove to Joe's, Joe and I bought some more beer when he saw that I liked it very much. After he lost his mirror and made a scratch on his door with the mailbox in his garden, we came at home in one peace. Then we baked the meat and eat it inside, (it was freezing). Even Joe with his sore teeth managed to eat some meat between the phone call's. Joe mumbles a lot when he speaks into Ellie's answering machine so Ittie told him 'you sound like a didgeridoo', he couldn't laugh with that (yeah like a Joe with toothache) but we could. Anyway, we had a very nice evening. (We don't have pictures of this happening so I placed more pictures of the blue mountains.)

Day 34, September 20, 2002

Friday morning we went to Jenolan Caves. We should ring Piet but he didn't answer the phone. When we finally reached him he was cleaning up his car because he thought he had to drive us there. When he finally arrived we could leave. Piet talked all day long, even Ittie couldn't get through. We saw the hotel where Ellie and Piet spend there honeymoon. We walked and climbed a long way in and around the caves, we decided not to take a guided tour because it was to far for Piet, but we saw lots of beautiful things and caves. In the evening at home we watched the pictures and the movie we made that day on TV and put it on video tape for Ellie. Piet went home at 12 o'clock at night, we had a beautiful day.
