Day 29, September 15, 2002.

We drove with Ellie to Parramatta this morning where we took the ferry to Sydney Circular Quay. From there we walked through Sydney Centrum, Queen Victoria building, Darling Harbor, China Town, you get a stiff neck from looking up to the large buildings. We were in the Center Point Tower, a very big tower in the center of Sydney, 325 m high. a magnificent view over the city. When we were down again we had a show about the city, the last part was very impressive. Virtual Reality. We flew over the Harbor Bridge etc. ( looked very real). After that we went to the opera house, we asked where the roof was made of. Concrete with ceramic toils. We walked some and took the train back to Parramatta, there we took the car. It was a beautiful day, nice weather, a lot of fun and we saw a lot.

Day 30, September 16, 2002

Monday morning, Ittie and I took the train from Blacktown to Sydney Center, and then took a ferry to Manley Beach, it's the most famous beach of Sydney. We walked for a short time over the beach, but we had seen beach enough, about 3000 km. We were shopping in Manley and bought some nice T-shirts for the grandkids. After that back to Sydney with the ferry. We waked through The Rocks and took the train back to Blacktown. That evening we went to Ellie's son Piet Hein to copy a videotape for the family. Piet Hein has a big fence around his yard so Ittie sad to him, "you live in a Compound". Piet Hein made a motorcycle from a lawnmower engine. Very nice.
